Local Penn State Office Offering New Master's Program

In response to requests, Penn State's Continuing Education Office in Williamsport has started offering local classes toward a Masters in College Student Affairs. Students can choose between a college counseling option or an administration and leadership option. Graduates in both options are well-qualified for positions in student affairs and college administration.

CNED 501, one of the core required courses in the College Student Affairs major, will be offered this spring as follows:

CNED 501 Counseling Theory and Method (three credits)Survey of pschodynamic, humanistic, behavioral and cognitive-behavioral approaches to counseling individuals. Instructor: Dr. Jean Duffy

  • Saturday and Sunday, March 18 and 198:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 82-5 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 308:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
