A variety of semester start-up information has been announced for the Fitness Center:
MembershipsMemberships are available now at the CC Information Desk.
- Students: $80/semester, $140/academic year (Fall and spring semesters
- Faculty/Staff: $90/semester, $160/academic year (Fall and spring semesters only; a summer membership will be required to use the facility in Summer 2006)
- Day/Guest Pass: $5/day
- Family Add-On Membership: For spouse or child over 17. student or faculty/staff person must also have a membership. Price is the same as for the student or faculty/staff member.
Orientations Are you a new member? Has it been awhile since you've worked out in the Fitness Center? Then schedule an orientation to review all of the equipment and receive tips on your fitness routine. Starting Monday, Aug. 29, orientations will be available Monday through Thursday at 5 p.m. or by appointment. Contact Kristi Hammaker in CC, Room 300, at ext. 7621 or by e-mail

Lunchtime X-presslineNot enough time to exercise? Try the Fitness Center's Lunchtime X-pressline. Held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:15-12:45 p.m., this instructor-led full-body circuit workout features Precor's Icarian line of weight training machines. Lose fat, gain muscle and have fun! Membership or day pass required.
Fitness Center Hours
"First Week" hours:
- Monday 8/22-Thursday 8/25: 7 a.m.-11 p.m.
- Friday 8/26: 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
Regular hours will resume Saturday, Aug. 27:
- Saturdays and Sundays: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Monday-Thursday: 6 a.m.-11 p.m.
- Fridays: 6 a.m.-8 p.m. style="font-size: 8pt">
