Dates to Remember
Networkwide 24-hour downtime for system maintenance
From 5 p.m. June 9 through 5 p.m. June 10, the following services will be unavailable:
- The AS/400 and any Web pages that depend on the AS/400 (SIS, WDCE course registration, employee directory, etc.)
- All network drives, including FTP and NetStorage access
- Personal home pages
- Some network laser printers
In addition, the GroupWise e-mail system will be down from 7-9 a.m. Friday, June10. The college's main Web site, Internet access and WebCT will not be affected.
Prior to the scheduled downtime, copy any files you will need from network drives (H:, G:, P:, R:, S:, etc.) to your computer's C: drive. During the downtime, work from these copies. You should create a backup diskette of any files you change or create during this period. On Monday, copy updated or newly created documents to the appropriate network drive and delete the copies from your computer's C: drive to avoid later confusion.

Students needing computer assistance this summer can contact the Student Help Desk by stopping by ATHS, Room E204, dialing ext. 7154, or sending an e-mail. Summer hours are:
- Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-11 p.m.
- Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Sunday, 2:30-11 p.m.
