Joshua M. Yost, in his final year as a Collision Repair Technology major, has been selected by the Student Government Association as March's "Student of the Month" at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Yost, from Cochranton, received six nominations all from supportive faculty in the School of Transportation Technology for his campus leadership and support of fellow students.
The 21-year-old participates in PC Customs, the collision-repair car club; is one of two Service Advisory Personnel in the collision-repair lab; and still manages to carry 18 credits this semester.
"Josh is very unselfish (and) always available to help students or faculty," one of his nominators wrote. He "is extremely hard-working and cares about the customers and their vehicles when they come through the lab. My biggest endorsement is: If I didn't have sons, I would want a son like Josh!"
SGA regularly selects a "Student of the Month" based on commitment, service, role-model behavior, academics, leadership and campus involvement. Anyone wishing to suggest a deserving student should watch PCToday for information on nominations.
