College, Professor Honored by Area Management Association

Pennsylvania College of Technology has been chosen as the "Company of the Month" by the Williamsport Area Management Association, which also honored one of the College?s professors at its February meeting.
Dr. Irwin H. Siegel, an associate professor of business administration, accepted a "Member of the Month" award at Thursday's meeting of WAMA, a nonprofit organization for business professionals and students pursuing related careers. Dr. Siegel and Dennis E. Gilbert, director of Workforce Development and Continuing Education, accepted on the College's behalf.
Dr. Siegel, a resident of Lebanon, joined the College faculty in 1998 after nearly 20 years in business and as an in-house corporate attorney. A 2001 recipient of the "Excellence in Teaching" award, he teaches mainly upper-level management courses at the College and heads the student-internship program for the School of Business and Computer Technologies.
