Information Technology Services reminds students to take advantage of the Student Help Desk at Penn College.
The mission of the Student Help Desk is to provide computer-related assistance to our students. The help desk is committed to providing a reliable "single point-of-contact" by giving courteous and prompt attention to each incoming request.
The Student Help Desk can answer general computer questions and assist with a variety of computer issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting, Internet connections (wired and wireless), viruses and spyware.
During January, the Student Help Desk assisted 48 students with computer-related issues, one-third of which were spyware/adware -related. The Student Help Desk is open Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Weekend hours are Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 2:30 to 11 p.m.
