Industry Partner Strengthens Collision-Repair Training
Thursday, February 10, 2005
For three days this week, students in Pennsylvania College of Technology's Collision Repair Estimating program received advanced training and real-world insight into the claims industry through an ADP outreach program. ADP is the premier supplier of claims-management solutions to the industry and part of that commitment is providing free software, training and consulting to schools such as Penn College.
Keith Bohling, project manager with ADP's Training Development team, spent three days on-site, training students and faculty about ADP's Web-based collision estimating. During his visit, Penn College became the launch client for ADP's new, innovative Online Interactive Training. This training allows students to access a comprehensive, interactive course about ADP estimating from any computer at any time. During the visit, Bohling shared insight with the students about real-world issues such as labor rates, total loss claims, claims-processing trends, accident data recorders and other topical issues.
