Thursday, January 27, 2005
Dennis E. Gilbert, director of Workforce Development and Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will be the keynote speaker at the 2005 Non-Credit Continuing Education National Conference.
The conference, which is being presented by the University of South Carolina College of Education, will be held at the Ocean Creek Resort in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on April 3-6.
Gilbert, who has been with Penn College since 2000 and has 15 years' experience managing and developing business in the private sector, will present the program "Leading Small Staffs to Big Triumphs."
The conference provides a forum for noncredit continuing-education professionals to network, share ideas, pose questions and seek solutions to programming and marketing issues. Participants learn about programs that can be adapted and implemented on almost any college or university campus.
