Thursday, January 13, 2005
Stephen T. Duna, instructor of collision repair, recently was recognized by Chief Automotive Systems Training Division with certification as a Master Structural Technician.
Due to the constantly changing nature of automotive technology, regular collision-repair training is an ongoing fact of life in the industry, as well as in teaching. Courses successfully completed to achieve Master status are Computerized Measuring, Full-Frame Analysis and Repair Planning, Unitized Body Analysis and Repair Planning, Full-Frame Repair, Unitized Body Repair, Structural Damage Analysis, and Advanced Steering and Suspension Analysis.
Duna is only the third individual to be certified Master Technician in Chief's northeast training region. Chief training resumes at Penn College in February and March, and also is open to local collision-repair shop personnel.
