'Cat Tales Men's Basketball The Wildcats had four players in double figures as they snapped a four-game losing streak with a win on the road at Penn State York. Sam Fatherly (Williamsport) led the scoring parade with 19 points, followed by O'Dell Jones (Levittown) and Dawan Moore (Buffalo, N.Y.) with 18 each and Adam Walker (Williamsport) with 14 points and eight rebounds.
It took two overtimes, but Penn College prevailed over Penn State Schuylkill to even its overall record and go one game above .500 in the Commonwealth Campus Athletic Conference. Jones led the Wildcat offense with 23 points, followed by Moore with 19 and Fatherly with 10. Three of Fatherly's points came on a 25-foot shot that sent the game into the first overtime period.
Women's Basketball Katlyn Stupar (State College) scored a season-high 43 points, but Penn State Hazleton's Ashley Kissell drilled a 3-pointer as time expired to edge Penn College and hand the Wildcats their first Commonwealth Campus Athletic Conference loss of the season. Jen Racho (Hazleton) scored 10 points for Penn College.
