A group of 22 students is going to Italy to study Art History in Rome and Naples.
The group will leave Dec. 28 and will return Jan. 6. While there, they will visit the ruins of Pompeii, the Colosseum, the Capitoline Museum and Vatican City. They also will spend a day in Cerveteri, one of the richest and important ancient Etruscan cities.
Students will see works of Bernini, Rafael, Michelangelo and Caravaggio while visiting museums, churches and historic chapels. In addition, they will celebrate New Year's Eve in the Piazza del Popolo and overnight in the coastal town of Sorrento. Mark Mahosky, on his third study tour to Italy, will be their instructor.
