Penn College Winter Commencement Set for Dec. 18

Soon-to-be-graduates enter the Community Arts Center for last December's commencement.More than 300 students have petitioned to graduate in December from Pennsylvania College of Technology, which will hold Winter Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport.

The student speaker for the ceremonies, which begin at 11 a.m., will be Hannah P. Ten Eyck, Danville, who will receive associate's degrees in Culinary Arts Technology and Baking and Pastry Arts from the School of Hospitality at Penn College.

During the ceremonies, Penn College President Dr. Davie Jane Gilmour will present Alumni Citizenship/Humanitarian Awards to two alumni. Dr. Gilmour will be joined by Penn College Board of Directors Chairman Dr. Robert E. Dunham as she confers bachelor's degrees, associate's degrees and certificates on the graduates.

The commencement ceremonies will be broadcast live in the Williamsport area on SusCom Cable Channel 2.
