Two Penn College instructors were among participants in a three-day I-CAR instructor qualification workshop on main campus Oct. 22-24.
Eric D. Pruden, instructor of automotive technology; and Roy Klinger, adjunct faculty member in collision repair, attended thetraining in the College Avenue Labs.
Bruce Peters and Mike Schaffer were I-CAR's instructors for the workshop, which included such topics as classroom setup, learning styles, using props in the classroom and presentation skills. Participants also presented real lessons that were taped and viewed by their fellow attendees.
I-CAR, founded in 1979, is an international, not-for-profit, training organization dedicated to improving the quality, safety and efficiency of auto collision repair for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.
