Wednesday, September 29, 2004
Wondering what will be happening on campus during Fall Visitation Day on Sunday, Oct. 24? The event's Web site has all the information you need to stay informed and to assist prospective students , parents and other guests who are interested in learning more about Pennsylvania College of Technology during Fall Visitation Day.
The Web site is accessible with one click on the Visitation Day banner at the bottom left of the College home page. Invitations to all prospective students as well as newspaper, television and radio advertising all direct those interested in attending to visit the Web site for details.
Individuals who register online will receive a customized schedule to help them plan their day on campus. The customized schedule is available only to online registrants; so please encourage prospective students/guests to use the Web site to register for Fall Visitation Day. Information they provide during the online registration process will be used to develop a schedule that will enable them to take part in activities most directly suited to their individual needs, including choice of major, interest in activities, athletics, etc.
Visitors to the Web site have access to a wide variety of information, including details about General Information Sessions and suggestions on How to Make the Most of Your Day. One click on the Campus Activity Guide will direct visitors to a map of the campus. By clicking on each individual campus facility, one can access a listing of activities that will be held at that location. To search for activities according to school/department or other categories or keywords, visitors may select the Activity Guide Search page.
The Visitation Day Web site also includes directions to the main campus, directions to sites off the main campus, and information on free bus service provided during Visitation Day. The Web site also provides a link to information on local lodging for out-of-town guests, as well as the opportunity for visitors to the site to register online.
Faculty, Staff and Student Organizations: If you submitted a Fall Visitation Day activity request online by the Sept. 27 deadline, please review the Web site to confirm that the details of your activity are correct. If corrections or revisions are needed, please contact the Office of College Information and Community Relations at ext. 7253 or e-mail Elaine Lambert, director.
Thank you for planning for and participating in Fall Visitation Day 2004. We look forward to hosting many prospective students and their families this fall!
