Beginning July 12, Pennsylvania College of Technology's North Campus will offer a remedial summer school program for students in grades 7-12.
The classes, being offered for the 18th year, provide students living in the Northern Tier an opportunity to improve their math and/or English skills.
Taught by certified instructors, the classes are an intense effort to assist students in their individual areas of deficiency. Direction is provided to each student to ensure all assignments are completed. Students can make up credits they need to meet graduation requirements or to advance their levels of achievement.
Two courses are offered: one in math and one in English, each consisting of 60 instructional hours. Both will run Monday through Thursday, beginning Monday, July 12, and ending Wednesday, Aug. 4. The math class will be held from 8 a.m. to noon; the English class is offered from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
The cost per session is $295. To register or receive more information, parents or guardians may call the North Campus at (570) 724-7703.
The North Campus is located on Route 6 between Wellsboro and Mansfield.
