The American Dental Education Association, the leading organization for dental education in the United States and Canada, will award a 2004 Presidential Citation to Kathleen E. Morr of Pennsylvania College of Technology.
The honor, bestowed by ADEA President Dr. Paula K. Friedman, recognizes individuals and institutions that have contributed significantly to the mission of the association during the 2003-04 academic year.
Morr, assistant to the dean of health sciences/director of dental hygiene at Penn College, has served the ADEA as a member of various committees and as a board member.
She will receive the Presidential Citation during the ADEA's 81st Annual Session and Exhibition, to be held March 6-10 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center, Seattle. The plaque presentation will be made during the opening ceremony and plenary session on March 6.
ADEA members include all U.S. and Canadian dental schools, advanced dental-education programs, hospital dental-education programs, allied dental-education programs, corporations, faculty and students.
