Penn College Library to Host Program on Reggio Emilia Preschools

The educational approach of the renowned preschools in Reggio Emilia, Italy, will be the topic of a program to be presented Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Pennsylvania College of Technology Library.
"The Best Preschools in the World? A Visit to Reggio Emilia" will be offered from noon to 1 p.m. by Karen Woland Payne, director of the Children's Learning Center at Penn College.
Payne traveled to Reggio Emilia in October as part of a study group of more than 200 educators from around the world. She will describe her visit to the municipal preschools and infant-toddler centers of the unique city.
The presentation is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
