Twenty-Two Members Inducted Into Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society

The members of the newly formed Pennsylvania College of Technology chapter of Sigma Beta Delta the International Honor Society in Business, Management and Administration were inducted in ceremonies held recently at the College.
To be eligible for membership, business students must be enrolled in a bachelor-degree major, rank in the top 20 percent of their class academically, have at least a 3.5 grade-point average in their major at the time of the invitation, and have completed 50 percent of their degree program.
Sigma Beta Delta, which was established in 1994 to honor students who have attained superior records in business programs in schools and colleges with regional accreditation, has 20,000 members in 189 chapters in 42 states and one international chapter.

Haswell, Williamsport; Christopher J. Hepburn, South Williamsport; Karl A. Hugo, Williamsport; Nicole B. Keeperman, Milton; Brandee J. Krall, Milton; Colleen M. Krall, Watsontown; Jason C. Long, Williamsport; Christina M. Miller, Mill Hall; Cheryl J. Robinson, Williamsport; Aaron C. Sands, South Williamsport; Jana L. Schreffler, Laporte; Walter J. Shultz Jr., Trout Run; Becky J. Snyder, Lairdsville; Dara C. Spencer, Williamsport; Jesse R. Viani, Wellsville; Scott F. Wallace, Williamsport; Leslie M. Weaver, New Columbia; and Barbara M. Willett, Johnstown.
Faculty officers for the Penn College Sigma Beta Delta chapter are Dr. Gerald D. Baumgardner, associate professor of business administration, president; Dr. Terry A. Girdon, professor of business administration, vice president; and Dr. Irwin H. Siegel, associate professor of business administration/business law, secretary/treasurer.
