Feng shui, an ancient Chinese art offering insights into the design and placement of buildings and the objects within them as a means of achieving harmony with the environment, will be the topic of a May 22 program at the Pennsylvania College of Technology Library.
Dorothy J. Gerring, associate professor of architecture at Penn College, will present the program, which begins at noon. The event is free and open to the public.
Gerring will address the benefits derived from an environment that is in harmony and balance. The lecture will provide a brief introduction to the history, principles and practice of feng shui.
