Personal-Trainer Workshop to Be Offered at Penn College

Pennsylvania College of Technology and NDEITA, a nonprofit fitness-professional association, are co-sponsoring a personal-trainer workshop to be held April 27-28 at the College.
The workshop, which will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 27; and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 28, will take place in Bardo Gymnasium. An expert trainer will provide demonstrations and cover exercise science, communications skills, exercise programming, health and fitness assessments, cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, and more.
Included in the workshop registration are a written exam, two-year national certification and membership in NDEITA. The cost is $329, but it will be $299 for those who pre-register 30 days before the workshop. Space is limited, and pre-registration is recommended. The workshop is designed for those with some fitness experience.
