An open forum and panel discussion on how the recession, the Sept. 11 tragedy, NAFTA and the European Union have affected job availability in the United States and in the global economy will be presented March 6 at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
"As the World Turns Since 9/11-Jobs in a Global Economy" will be offered from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Penn's Inn on the second floor of the Bush Campus Center. The program is being sponsored by the International Programs Office at Penn College.
The panel will include several representatives of area businesses that operate in the global environment of Europe and Mexico. Panel members will offer their perspectives about working and doing business in a world that increasingly is without borders.
Hosting the program will be two faculty members from the School of Business and Computer Technologies: Phillip D. Landers, professor of business administration, and Steven J. Moff, assistant professor of business administration/marketing.
