Fitness is Focus for January Program at Penn College Library
Monday, December 17, 2001
For those whose primary form of exercise this time of year is hoisting plates of food at holiday feasts, the January program at the Pennsylvania College of Technology Library offers a chance for redemption.
On Tuesday, Jan. 29, Paul A. "Babe" Mayer, associate professor of fitness and lifetime sports in the College's School of Health Sciences, will present, "Exercise in the New Millennium; Beginning the New Century with New Philosophies and New Standards."
The program, which begins at noon, is free and open to the public. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothes. The library is located in the Learning Resources Center at Penn College.
All month long in January, the College Library will display books and magazines on fitness, exercise, nutrition, fitness-career opportunities, fitness psychology and fitness for kids. For more information about the library, visit on the Web.
