Kevin C. Gordon has been selected as the student speaker for Pennsylvania College of Technology's Summer Commencement ceremonies, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 11.
More than 120 students have petitioned to receive bachelor's and associate's degrees and certificates at the ceremonies, which will take place at 11 a.m. in the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport.
Gordon, who is enrolled in the Physician Assistant major at Penn College, resides at South Williamsport.
Penn College President Dr. Davie Jane Gilmour and Board of Directors' Chairman Dr. Robert E. Dunham will present the degrees and certificates.
Also to be presented are Student Achievement Awards and the Master Teacher Award the highest honor bestowed upon a faculty member at Penn College.
Susquehanna Communications will broadcast the commencement ceremonies live on local cable Channel 2 .
