"You're the Chef," Penn College's popular cooking series on PBS, won a Gold Award in the College Video Program category.
"Penn College & You," the College's public affairs program, won a Bronze Award in the College Video Program category. The series took home the Silver Award last year.
"One College Avenue," the College's quarterly magazine, won a Bronze Award in the Newsletter category.
The winning "You're the Chef" episode was entitled "Derby Dinner." The recipes featured on the episode were Churchill Downs Prime Rib Roast and Kentucky Derby Seafood Salad. Speicher serves as host and executive producer of the series.
The College submitted several editions of "One College Avenue" to NCMPR for award consideration. The magazine is edited by Tom Wilson, college editor/assistant director of college information and community relations.
"One College Avenue" is dedicated to sharing the educational development, goals and achievements of Penn College students, alumni, faculty and staff with one another and with the greater community.
