The annual poetry reading sponsored by the Pennsylvania College of Technology Library will feature a musical twist this year: a folk-and-bluegrass prelude.
The event will be held at noon Tuesday, April 10, in the courtyard behind the Learning Resources Center and the Henry G. Hager Lifelong Education Center on the main campus. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the ground floor of the library.
"Jeronimo and the Jammers," featuring Penn College faculty members Ned S. Coates and Dr. Peter B. Dumanis, professors of English; Dennis L. Fisher, assistant professor of construction carpentry; and friends, will perform first. The poetry readings will follow.
Reading will be Lorraine Waltz, from the Williamsport community; Jan Marler, a reference librarian at the James V. Brown Library in Williamsport; Jeremy T. Brown of Jersey Shore, an Individual Studies student at Penn College; and David S. Sims, associate professor of English composition at the College.
