Normal Campus Operations Resume After Additional Threats
Tuesday, November 21, 2000
Various facilities on the Pennsylvania College of Technology campus were evacuated and searched Tuesday evening following a series of threatening telephone calls.
College officials quickly determined that the calls, which were received beginning at 8:30 p.m., were false, and all operations returned to normal by 10 p.m.
The investigation continues, and officials are taking appropriate actions to deal with this threat and others received on Oct. 23 and Oct. 30.
A $5,000 reward remains in effect for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the threatening calls. Anyone with information about the threats is urged to call 320-5280. All calls will be treated as confidentially as the law permits.
