"Mud and Fire: Ceramics 2000," an exhibition of pottery crafted by Ceramics and Advanced Ceramics students at Pennsylvania College of Technology, will be on display at The 202 Gallery from Tuesday, April 11, through Friday, April 28.
The works which are created using hand-building (slab, coil and extruded clay) and wheel-thrown techniques are submitted by students in various majors at Penn College. Stoneware and porcelain forms, as well as Raku pots, are part of the exhibit.
Faculty sponsor for the exhibit is Max E. Ameigh, instructor of Communication Arts at Penn College.
The 202 Gallery is on the south end of the second floor of the Bush Campus Center.
Gallery hours for the exhibit are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. For groups of three or more, viewing appointments can be arranged at other times. Please call 326-3761, ext. 7491, at least two business days in advance of your requested viewing time.
