Outstanding achievement awards for vocational-technical students and educators were presented recently at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Honored at the 14th annual Outstanding Vocational Student/Educator Awards Day were representatives from 36 schools in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
Penn College, Pennsylvania's premier technical college and an affiliate of The Pennsylvania State University, annually recognizes the achievements of students and educators committed to success in vocational-technical education. During the awards day, the students and educators enjoyed tours of the College campus by Penn College's Student Ambassadors, lunch with College administrators and a special awards ceremony with an address by Dr. Davie Jane Gilmour, Penn College president. Assisting Dr. Gilmour in presenting the awards on behalf of the College were Dr. William J. Martin, senior vice president, and Dr. James E. Fitzpatrick, dean of student services.
