Aug. 1 services to honor retired Penn College dean

William E. Mack, a former dean at Pennsylvania College of Technology, died July 19 at the age of 67. A funeral will begin at 3 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Rd., Annville. A celebration of life will follow, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Enola Sportsmen’s Club, 290 Hill Road Ext., Enola.

Mack joined Penn College in 2009 as assistant dean of the School of Industrial, Computing & Engineering Technologies. He was named dean of the school in 2012. He also served as an adjunct faculty member in electrical construction/HVAC electrical. From 2013-17, he served as special assistant to the provost, retiring in June 2017.
