Ready to roll their donations to Family Promise of Lycoming County! Representing United Campus Ministry and the Cheer Team are (from left): Thomas “Tommy” C. Degeyter Jr., residential construction technology & management, of Long Valley, New Jersey; Stephanie Campbell, biomedical sciences, Catawissa; Brooke L. Brinker, construction management, Bethlehem; and Samir K. Pringle, business administration, Philadelphia. Assisting the effort are those iconic Wildcat blue bins that are typically used on move-in days. Degeyter and Pringle are representing UMC, and Campbell and Brinker are members of the Cheer Team.

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s United Campus Ministry and Cheer Team recently teamed up for their spring semester fundraiser and donated all of their profits to a local nonprofit, Family Promise of Lycoming County.

UCM and the Cheer Team sold 16 boxes (96 bars) of chocolate and donated $800 in goods and necessities to Family Promise, a homeless ministry. The organization helps homeless families, as well as those who are on the verge of becoming homeless.

Samir K. Pringle, president of UCM, said, “After hearing their mission and purpose, we all decided to fundraise for Family Promise.”
