Three representatives of the Student Government Association hit "refresh" on a Penn College tradition Monday morning, adding vividly visible school spirit to the Veterans' Fountain for the 2023 edition of Wildcat Weekend.

Shortly after 9 a.m., the trio joined Matthew P. Barrett, a two-time alumnus and first-shift General Services horticulturist; Allison A. Bressler Grove, director of student engagement; and Meghan Delsite Coleman, assistant director; outside the Breuder Advanced Technology & Health Sciences Center for the brief festivities.

Donning protective gloves and taking turns (not to mention great pains not to spill the blue dye) were Hayden D. Lester, Jersey Shore, business management; Marcayla M. Lutzkanin, Port Carbon, applied management; and Samir K. Pringle, Philadelphia, business administration. Lester is SGA president, Lutzkanin is executive vice president, and Pringle is vice president of finance.

The weekend schedule, comprising new events and time-honored favorites, includes the Athletics Hall of Fame reception, a bonfire and dessert showcase, a "Hike With President Mike" on the Williamsport Municipal Water Authority trails, the annual Alumni Golf Outing, family activities, men's and women's soccer matches, the opening of a Residence Life time capsule sealed a quarter-century ago, the Alumni & Friends Tent Party, comedy, magic ... and a whole lot more!
