Jennifer R. Wahl, instructor of social sciences at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently presented “Fear Doesn’t Go With This Outfit” at the 2023 Women’s Empowerment Conference, hosted by the YWCA Northcentral PA.
Exploring adverse scenarios experienced by women in the workplace, Wahl’s motivational session engaged conference attendees in sharing solutions for deterring fear and feeling empowered in their careers.
Wahl regularly speaks to audiences at the local, state, national and international levels, sharing her expertise in a wide range of topics, including history, international experiences, cultural diversity, education and career readiness.
At Penn College, Wahl teaches world history, psychology and sociology courses. She previously worked as a secondary education teacher in the Loyalsock Township School District and was named Pennsylvania State Teacher of the Year in 2018.
Wahl earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Penn State and a bachelor’s degree in history from Cabrini University.
