CLC taste test gets an 'A' for 'Again, please?'

The Dunham Children's Learning Center observed the Week of the Young Child earlier this month, a celebration of youngsters and staff alike ... and a shared enjoyment of some yummy treats.

During a "Tasty Tuesday" activity, the Birds made butter while learning about healthy foods fresh from the farm. With only two ingredients (heavy cream and salt) in a sealed container, and some vigorous shaking set to music, the children produced a homemade spread for their bread.

In another part of the Penn College child care facility, the Busy Bees experienced a hands-on version of "Taco Tuesday" that combined dexterity with a big batch of delicious!
