Museum Celebrates Penn College Partnership at Regional Auto Show

The Antique Automobile Club of America's Museum in Hershey is promoting its partnership with Penn College at this weekend's Harrisburg Auto Show, sponsored by Motor Trend magazine. The event began Thursday and will run through 5 p.m. Sunday in the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex's North Hall. The college's association with the museum began in 2010 with impressive work on a 1965 Ford Mustang convertible, a project that ultimately gave rise to the automotive restoration technology major and affiliations with other museums. That car is on display this weekend, as is another award-winning example of Penn College students' handiwork: a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport. Also on public view are a Mustang body donated by Buckeye Classic Car Restoration in Canfield, Ohio, and a training engine used in the School of Transportation & Natural Resources Technologies.Photo by AACA Museum
