Men's Soccer Team Adds Winning 'Kick' to NCAA Kickoff

Penn College's entry into NCAA play continued Tuesday night with a 4-1 men's soccer victory over Alfred State College. The win, which takes the Wildcats to 2-0 on the young fall season, followed women's volleyball and soccer in a series of early-semester "NCAA Kickoff" events to engage fans and spread the athletic excitement across campus.

The well-chilled shower, the second endured by Strickland in as many weeks, was delivered at the request of Matthew Kennedy, Bryn Athyn's director of athletics, and Kiri K. Rogers, its dean of students. Strickland and Kennell, in turn, threw down the gauntlet to three Wildcat coaches: Christopher H. Howard, baseball; John F. McNichol Jr., women's soccer; and Rafael Morais, men's soccer.
