Friday, April 20, 2007
Students in Donald Nibert's Wildlife Management class visited the Loyalsock Game Farm during their three-hour lab Thursday to assist the Pennsylvania Game Commission in erecting nylon netting over holding pens for newly hatched pheasants. The netting is applied to protect the 4-week-old chicks from avian predators. Penn College forestry students also received a tour of the hatching facilities and brooding buildings.
