K&W Medical Specialties Partners With Plastics Mobile Lab

Pennsylvania College of Technology's Plastics Mobile Lab was requested by K&W Medical Specialties to assist with the Northern Tier (Tioga County) Youth Leadership Program, as well as to provide demonstrations for employees of the company.
K&W employs a staff of more than 180, which includes several Penn College graduates. General Manager Ralph Wolstenholme and Human Resources Manager Matt Feil provided an in-depth overview of K&W's history and new initiatives.
The growth of this medical-supply company has been phenomenal, starting with eight employees in 1974 and consistently growing in today's medical industry. Recent alum Westley Campbell, a process engineer with K&W, spoke of memorable times at Penn College.
Ryan F. Walls, a plastics and polymer engineering technology student from Covington, presented the Plastics Mobile Lab. He gave a brief overview and demonstration to numerous high-school students and current employees of K&W. Walls spoke of the thermoforming process and career opportunities Penn College has to offer.
