Faculty Forum at College Library to Explore Egyptian People, Culture

The program "Egypt: A Journey Among Its People and Culture" will be presented March 16 as the sixth in a series of faculty forums being offered at the Pennsylvania College of Technology Library.
The program, which is free and open to the public, will be presented from 2 to 3 p.m. by Dr. Daniel J. Doyle, professor of history at Penn College. Light refreshments will be served.
Dr. Doyle will discuss his experiences and show photographic images taken during his Fulbright Lectureship in Egypt from October 2003 to January 2004. He taught students at Alexandria University and gave lectures at several other universities in Egypt.
Dr. Doyle and his wife, Mary, also visited Cairo numerous times and took a cruise on the Nile from Luxor to Aswan with former Penn College librarians Bob and Rosie Johnston. He will share a few stories about the warm and welcoming reception that he received from the people of Egypt.
