Chef Paul to Prepare Apple Dishes for Sept. 26 Library Program

In recognition of Ethnic Foods Month, the Pennsylvania College of Technology Library on Sept. 26 will present "Apples Outside the Pie," a program featuring the College's own Chef Paul Mach, co-host of the award-winning "You're the Chef" cooking series seen nationally on public television.

Mach will prepare delicious apple dishes the French way in a presentation that will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. The program is free and open to the public.

Mach, an assistant professor of food and hospitality management/culinary arts, was the 2001 recipient of the highest honor accorded to Penn College faculty the Master Teacher Award. He joined the faculty in 1992. Mach earned associate's degrees from the Culinary Institute of America and Erie Community College and a bachelor's degree from Empire State College of the State University of New York.
