She set her sights on a career in healthcare. Ready to get a head start on her future, Morgan took a medical terminology course through Penn College Dual Enrollment and her local CTC. Today, she’s enrolled as a pre-nursing student at Penn College. Thanks to her early college experience, Morgan knew what to expect and brought confidence on day one.
The atmosphere of Penn College drew me into coming here. I knew at the very beginning that I did not want to go to a large college. When I came to visit the campus I immediately knew this was the college for me.
Yes! I earned the Penn College Dual Enrollment scholarship, a Career and Technical Education scholarship, and one from the Centre County Community Foundation.

Balancing high school classes with college coursework taught me a lot about time management. I needed to prioritize my more demanding college-level class while also completing my high school assignments.
Taking the Penn College Dual Enrollment course helped me prepare for the road ahead. It was a lot less stressful starting college in fall because I had experience managing a higher level class. So I knew what to expect and was ready for the rigor to come.
After graduation I plan to either go to school and become a Physician Assistant, or get my Master's in Nursing Education.
