After being admitted into the dental hygiene program at Penn College, Amanda decided to give up her seat to join the Air Force National Guard. Knowing that her service would offset her college investment made it all worthwhile. When Amanda returned to campus, she was fully invested in her future. Amanda continued to move up in military rank while completing her coursework. She also served as a resident assistant and mentor to her peers. Today she’s working as a registered dental hygienist in Bensalem, PA and as a dental technician for the Air Force National Guard.
