technical illustrationPaul retired as senior illustrator and publications coordinator for F.L. Smithe Machine Co., a manufacturer of envelope machinery and narrow web flexographic printing presses. He was offered the job two months before graduation. He illustrated parts manuals, wrote technical illustration manuals, and produced the company's advertising brochures and printing plate graphics for machine demonstrations. "My 39-year career saw the transition from the drawing board to the digital world with the aid of AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PageMaker," he said. He continues to use his graphic design skills to help his church and other nonprofits. He resides in Duncansville.
