Andrew is a web developer for Penn State's College of the Liberal Arts. He resides in State College.

Edward Race, 2010

civil engineering technology

Edward is a project engineer for Schnabel Engineering. He is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and the U.S. Society on Dams. He welcomed a son, Lester, in September 2022. They reside in Rebersburg.

Ryan Enders, 2013

aviation technology, technology management

Ryan is supervisor of air safety for Lycoming Engines and a member of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association's safety committee. At Lycoming, his department investigates fatal and serious-injury aircraft accidents with the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration. Its staff launches all over the U.S. with the federal investigators to examine the engine. In addition to domestic accidents, Enders handles all international notifications and department managerial assignments. He holds a master's in aeronautics (2019) and a Master of Business Administration in aviation (2022), both from Embry-Riddle. In May, Ryan and his wife, Cassie (Mohr) '15, dental hygiene: health policy and administration, welcomed their first child, Piper, in May 2022. They reside in Mifflinburg.

Kenneth Bolig, 1973

civil engineering technology

Kenneth retired from Geisinger Medical Center as a senior facilities coordinator, responsible for taking projects from planning through design, construction and integration into patient care. He holds a bachelor's in engineering from Penn State Harrisburg and a master's in planning from Johns Hopkins University. He is a veteran of the Navy Seabees (Construction Battalion), through which he received several awards. He resides in Winfield.

Carlene (Gower) Cabot, 2011

occupational therapy assistant

Carlene is a service coordinator for Connexus Human Services. She ensures the health and safety of clients in the adult waiver program by helping them get personal aides, rides to medical appointments, therapies, home health, food, and home and medical modifications. She resides in Jersey Shore.

Jessica (Wiegand) Layre, 2016

business administration: marketing

Jessica is the assistant director of graduate studies for the University of Pittsburgh. She resides in Allison Park.

Paul McQuay, 1962

machinist general/tool design

Paul resides in Boulder, Colo. As a retiree, he spends his time hiking, biking, fly fishing and traveling internationally.

Ronald Comfort, 1968

carpentry

Ronald was self-employed, using his education for 53 years and retiring in 2021. He used those skills to build his home and has lived in it for 52 years with his wife of 53 years. They have two children - one biological and one adopted from Haiti - and four grandchildren. He resides in Millerton.

Ryan Mack, 2002

manufacturing engineering technology

Ryan is a senior reliability engineer for roofing manufacturer GAF. He is a Monroe Township supervisor, past president of Leadership Susquehanna Valley and owner of Mack's Garage LLC, an automotive restoration service. He resides in Selinsgrove with his wife, Michelle Paul Mack '00, business management: travel and tourism emphasis. His stepson, Evan Pickering, is a first-year Wildcat soccer player and business administration student.

Jennifer (Brinkley) Martin, 2005

welding and fabrication engineering technology

Jennifer is an engineering manager for Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America. She sets the budget for North American projects, establishing the project baseline costs for the North America Region and coordinating with the Production Planning division on new model project studies. She resides in Lexington, Ky.

Richard Snyder, 1978

electrical construction

Richard has come full circle: After retiring in 2021 from 43 years in the electrical/HVAC field, he has returned to Penn College, assisting faculty and students as a toolroom attendant in the electrical program. At graduation, he was honored for having the highest GPA in electrical construction and highest GPA among students in the secondary education program. He is married and resides in Williamsport.

Shaylin Sluzalis, 2018

Shaylin is the co-executive director for The Partnership for Inclusive Disaster Strategies, the only U.S. disability-led organization with a focused mission of equity for people with disabilities and people with access and functional needs throughout planning, programs, services and procedures before, during and after disasters and emergencies. She resides in Philadelphia.

Charles

Charles Stankye, 2016

residential construction technology and management: building construction technology

Charles is a builder second class petty officer for the Navy. He has received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Deployment Ribbon with a bronze star. He resides in Derby, Conn., and expects to be transferred to Italy or Japan for three years in October 2023.

Lucas is an automotive technician for Jacksonville Westside Dodge. He resides in Orange Park, Fla., and is pursuing a bachelor's in business administration from Strayer University.

David Stanley, 1982

radiologic technology

David is planning to retire at the end of 2022 as an advanced product specialist: MR for GE Healthcare. After graduating in radiologic technology, he attended Oral Roberts University, graduating in 1987. He worked as an MRI technologist for Duke University Medical Center. In 1988, he went to work for GE Healthcare as an MRI applications specialist. He held many positions at GE in MRI. His favorite was supporting the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., for 21 years. "Working for GE gave me the opportunity to travel around the world visiting over 35 countries, giving lectures on four different continents, speaking at countless medical scientific meetings, being involved in projects that changed how we image the body.  It was the most excellent adventure!" He will retire from GE with 34 years of service. "Thank you to Penn College in providing me with a foundation education to allow me to succeed in my professional career." He resides in Palm Bay, Fla.

April (Butler) Clymer, 2005

April is an operations manager for Empire Property Management Group LLC. She resides in Coplay with her husband, whom she met at Penn College when she was a freshman in 2000. They recently celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary.

Lance

Lance Yonge, 1984

service and operation of heavy construction equipment

Lance is the highway superintendent for the Town of Milo in New York, responsible for 49 miles of roadway. "I strive to keep them smooth in the summer months and clear of snow and ice in the winter," he says. While maintaining a steady job in his first love, operating heavy equipment, he's had a successful 30 years of auto racing on the side, and owns his own grading business, Lance Yonge Grading LLC. He resides in Penn Yan, N.Y. He and his wife have one daughter, who is completing a doctorate.

Shawn McClain, 1983

building construction technology

Shawn is in design/sales for Signature Companies. He does design, contracts and fitment of custom stair cases and railings. He resides in Hagerstown, Md., where he teaches motorcycle safety at Hagerstown Community College. He is a certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation RiderCoach.

Ronald's family reports that he died on Sept. 26, 2022. He resided in Montoursville.

Kaitlyn welcomed home twins on Sept. 9, 2022: daughter Waverly Mae Clark and son Maverick James Clark. They reside in Grottoes, Va.

Beth married Michael Fagiola in New York on Sept. 10, 2022. They reside in Bayville, N.Y.

Breanna is a cybersecurity engineer for MITRE. She completed a master's in homeland security with a concentration in digital forensics and cybersecurity at Penn State. She resides in Arlington, Va.

Rebecca is a quality engineer for ITT Engineered Valves. She resides in Lancaster.
