Help develop Polymer Engineering industry leaders

Whether they are designing life-altering medical devices, developing construction materials, providing packaging for goods, building automotive parts, or re-imagining smarter aerospace solutions, our students will be empowered to raise the bar in a field with endless possibilities. As you know, the polymer industry is expected to grow exponentially over the next decade. Our goal is to provide exceptional candidates to fill those future roles—but we need industry partners to make that happen.

While we know our graduates experience an incredible return on investment from their degrees, we also know that financial concerns are still a primary barrier for our students and their families. As a strategic initiative for the College and for our industry partners, we must find ways to increase access to the field of polymer engineering.

What is the Polymer Promise?

Penn College has committed to providing a $2,000 renewable scholarship to 15 incoming students beginning in the Fall 2025 semester. These scholarships will lessen financial barriers and allow students to plan for their educational expenses.

How can you help?

We invite our corporate partners to join by March 1, 2025, in our efforts to raise awareness of the polymer industry and expand the pool of skilled engineers in the field by joining the Polymer Promise. Industry partners who commit to matching our $2,000 contribution will increase the student award to $4,000.

How will you be recognized?

Corporate Partners who make the Polymer Promise will receive the following benefits:

  • Company logos represented on all prospective student-facing Polymer Promise materials
  • Company name recognition in student scholarship award
  • Recognition on TV screens across Penn College's campus
  • Recognition on Penn College's LinkedIn
  • Invitation to attend the annual Student Scholarship Luncheon
