Through a partnership with Penn College, The GIANT Company has the unique opportunity to invest in the lives of students throughout our various operating markets. GIANT is a multifaceted organization with roles in all areas such as store operations (bakery, meat, seafood, deli, and management) and the support office (marketing, human resources, ecommerce growth, etc.). We seek to provide opportunities to students whether through part-time employment, internships or opportunities post grad for them to continue to grow their skills, all the while, giving back to their communities. Penn College produces highly qualified, community oriented, and growth focused individuals and The GIANT Company wants to continue to help them grow.
WHAT QUALITIES DO YOU VALUE MOST WHEN RECRUITING PENN COLLEGE STUDENTS & ALUMNI?
When having conversations with any students, we first and foremost look to see if they would be a great cultural fit. At GIANT, our values are care, humor, courage, teamwork, and integrity. Be a sponge! The next couple years of your life will bring about so much change and growth. You will learn from those who have many years of experience. Soak it in. Ask questions. Keep a growth mindset and continue to seek knowledge in all areas.
