"We face a rapidly changing manufacturing environment where businesses must leverage the latest in technology at a time when technology resources are scarce. Penn College graduates mesh incredibly well with Jabil's mission to be the most technologically advanced and trusted manufacturing solutions provider. This partnership enables Jabil to unlock access to a treasure of sustainable manufacturing talent. We also look forward to the opportunity to share our technological know-how with the next generation of Makers as a way for our employees to give back to their manufacturing community."

Q&A with Jabil Healthcare
HOW DID YOUR COMPANY FIRST CONNECT WITH PENN COLLEGE?
Jabil's Healthcare division has two locations in relatively close proximity to Penn College in West Chester, PA and Elmira, NY. Jabil currently employs multiple Penn College alumni at both locations and they are vocal advocates of the college.
HOW HAS ENROLLING AS A CORPORATE TOMORROW MAKER ENHANCED YOUR PARTNERSHIP WITH PENN COLLEGE?
Enrolling in the Corporate Tomorrow Makers Program has formalized a partnership that we have had informally throughout the last several years. It provides a way that Jabil can advertise it's commitment to aggresively recruit Penn College graduates and create a mutually beneficial relationship for years to come.
WHAT QUALITIES OF PENN COLLEGE STUDENTS MAKE THEM STAND OUT FOR YOUR OPERATIONS?
Penn College students are hands-on makers. They hit the shop floor with a solid foundation of real-world "nuts and bolts" knowledge of how machinery works and the formalized training to transform that know-how into immediate results. Recruits from traditional engineering schools require years to gain the hands-on experience that Penn College grads walk in the door with.
WHAT ASPECTS OF YOUR COMPANY ATTRACT OUR STUDENTS AND FUTURE STUDENTS TO JOIN YOUR OPERATIONS?
Jabil is a manufacturing company on the cutting edge of technology. We employ use of the latest in CNC and manufacturing technology, investing heavily each year in new equipment and processes. More importantly, Jabil invests heavily in it's most prized resource, our technical talent. Career growth is limitless for motivated employees.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU SHARE WITH HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS (AND PARENTS) WHO ARE CONSIDERING PENN COLLEGE?
Penn College offers an education that employers are looking for. A degree from Penn College tells an employer that you have a foundation of skills that will be immediately valuable in the workplace. It is this reason that the post graduation placement rates are world class from Penn College.
WHAT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE PENN COLLEGE STUDENTS TO BEST PREPARE THEM TO JOIN YOUR TEAM?
Take advantage of every opportunity you are given while a student both in and out of the classroom. Keep an open mind about what a career in your major may look like and be prepared to extend beyond your comfort zone to maximize your potential.
