It's exciting to serve as a recruiter in this type of organization, because every position quite literally affects the outcome of Lycoming County's citizens. With that in mind, it's imperative to get the right person in each position.
WHAT DO YOU APPRECIATE MOST ABOUT YOUR COMPANY'S CULTURE/MISSION?
What I like most about the County is that there is order and logic to most things. Maneuvering within certain guidelines can be both challenging and rewarding.
HOW DID YOUR COMPANY FIRST CONNECT WITH PENN COLLEGE?
The County has had a long standing relationship with Penn College before I got here. I've also cultivated a few relationships and started gears on some projects since joining.
WHY DO YOU BELIEVE PENN COLLEGE IS A SOUND INVESTMENT? WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR RETURN?
I believe in Penn College's hands-on approach to learning. I also appreciate how students approach employers. Penn College students know how to present themselves in a business minded capacity. That's what makes each student a sound investment.

The qualities I value most in Penn College students and alumni are: the knowledge they have in their field by the time they graduate, the confidence instilled in them, and the eagerness they have to get out in the workforce and make a difference.
