matches /financial-hardship-notification ... percision: 2 of

Penn College recognizes that some students and their families have experienced a substantial loss of income and/or have unexpected expenses in 2023 or 2024. These financial hardships can threaten students’ abilities to start, or to continue, pursuing their academic goals.

If your 2024-25 FAFSA is finalized (no tasks needed for you to complete) and you had a preliminary discussion with a Financial Aid team member about your or your family’s financial hardship, proceed to complete and submit this notification by answering the questions below and explaining your circumstances.

Please understand that funds for financial hardship circumstances are limited and are considered temporary rather than continual assistance. A Penn College committee will carefully review all submissions. The Financial Aid team typically will require additional information and documentation from you and/or your spouse or parent. Note that financial hardships for reduced income experienced during calendar year 2024 will not be reviewed until after July 1, 2024.

The Financial Aid team will communicate with you via your Penn College Student email account, so be sure to check it regularly.
