Emergency Medical Technician
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) play a vital role in delivering urgent medical care and transporting critically ill or injured individuals outside of hospital settings. They possess the fundamental knowledge and abilities required to stabilize patients and ensure their safe transfer, handling situations that span from routine medical transports to life-threatening emergencies.
This course will meet the National EMS Education Standards and Instructional Guidelines for Emergency Medical Technician and prepare the participant for National Registry cognitive and psychomotor examinations at the EMT level. Total instruction time: 50 hours of video-based lecture plus 100 hours of practical sessions.
