Take advantage of scholarships
Scholarships can make a huge difference when it comes to offsetting your educational costs. Thanks to your technical background, you'll be off to a solid start.
CTE Scholarships
Just for graduating from a state-approved* CTE program, you'll earn a $2,000 annual scholarship. The award renews for up to two years for an associate's and up to four for a bachelor's. (For Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Connecticut residents)
Penn College Scholarships
In addition to the one you can get for graduating from your CTE, you also can put your name in the running for 350+ Penn College scholarships. (All students)
Earn credits for your experience
Here are some ways you can score credits before your first semester at Penn College. As long as you're eligible, these are stackable and can be combined to maximize your savings.
Tuition-Free Credits
Graduate from any state-approved CTE program and enroll at Penn College and you can earn credits by testing out of any 100- or 200-level course.
Advanced & Alternative Credits
You also have the opportunity to earn additional credit by testing out of advanced courses, passing competency assessments, and through licensure or specific work or life situations.
Accelerated Pathways
If your school doesn’t already have a formal pathway with us, you’ll be awarded three credits just by meeting Career & Technical Education Student Scholarship requirements. Apply them to a bachelor's degree right away or start with an associate's and use them when you advance into a bachelor's.
(For Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and Connecticut residents)
